woohoo! i think i got an errored half?

Picked up another box of halves today and my first box of nickels, and I think this is an error, but not absolutely sure.

Also got 2 1942 nickels!

What do you think? Is it an error? Cud?

Why do you say that? In both of the spots, its flattened, but not mushroomed out. Still perfectly round. Also, its in the exact same position on both sides.

Care to enlighten me, sfb? I'm not doubting you, I just can't see how this would happen other than die error. Thanks!

Can you take closer and clearer pictures. It may be a clip planchette but its had to tell at that angle. LP

Not pliers. It is an "alligator" clip.

Not sure you want to use alligator clips either. Even though it is already circulated, if it is an error coin you surely don't want to damage it any further.

This is my soldering station. I use it to take pics of coins since the only camera I have is my phone and the macro setting leaves a lot to be desired.
