Hello Everyone
I was given a Crystal that a Lady found years ago while walking her dogs, they barked at a bush in a wash, that the crystal was under, and she saw the sun light sparkle off it, she give it to a native American that heard of my interest in the site that it was found at, and gave it to the person that gave it to me. While examining the crystal I realized it is the largest rub stone I've ever seen or found. Rub stones or worry stones are much smaller. Has anyone seen one like this? Voo-do -3 is a side view, Voo-do -2 face view, and Voo-do is the back side view, note the index finger notch.

Super nice Quartz

For quartz it is sizeable but not huge. But a nice crystal. Seems to me if it "spoke" to the dog, perhaps it can speak to you, or maybe even seek for you. I don't know if I would want to carry it around in my pouch, but always worth a try. Personally, I don't buy into that kind of stuff, as well as the "readers" and the "library" in the crystal, but I do love crystals of any sort or size. But the dog story is definitely fun!

From a total amateur point of view, I would think that it is too cumbersome to be a worry stone. The point of a worry stone is to be portable. Any grooves that don't look natural may have been for some other purpose?
Wish I could train my dog to be a rockhound!

Hello High Plains and everyone
I believe the dogs where barking at the sparkle under the bush, as that is what drew this Lady's attention to this half buried and the partially light exposed crystal in the opposite bank of the wash.

Hi Tigger
The whole point is, that it is so large and combersome as a worry stone. I've been doing this kind of antiquity field research for many years, and once antiquate is tumble in a wash, it's meaningless, and the clear in the crystal is un-pitted, testifying that it was not tumbled in the wash. As for the wearing, I believe it was hand worn and seems to indicate that it may have been used by a medicine man! Who knows? I was looking for someone that might have found something similar. I want to Thank all of you for your input.
