The first picture shows my wife's grandparents house in La Crosse, WI (in the center of the photo). Her grandfather was one of the city founders, owned a hardware store, and knew Buffalo Bill Cody. (You can see the bluffs on the left side of the picture.)

The second picture shows a current view from the bluff above the town. The house is no longer in my wife's family, but it would be an interesting property to detect.
