Would someone explain how to repost? Pig picture added

This is now my third attempt to post this morning's finds. They include a silver plated fork and spoon, a little piggy bank, skeleton keys, a 39D Merc and a few wheats. This play coin is a 1957; at first I thought it might be a three cent piece. I'm weary of telling and retelling the story; sorry for the sparse details and missing pictures.

What I mean is this: when you've submitted a post, then you get an error message that the file is too large and you try again, only to get another message that you've already submitted the same post, except that it never appears anywhere! Can you tell I'm frustrated?

the best thing to do with a lengthy post is to press ctrl+A and select all the text that you've typed, press ctrl+C to copy it
open wordpad and ctrl+V tp paste it all in there

That way if your browser has an error you can just copy and paste your hard work back into a new post =)
And if you're using Internet Explorer, go download Firefox =D

Yes, I know whay you mean. I hate that. You can lose everything. Sometimes it tells me that I have already submitted that post in error. I have to start all over. Maybe TN will correct this problem. Try posting in "Rants".

Is that the little piggy who went to market or the one who stayed at home?
Cute little guy regardless.

It is really annoying when that happens to a post...one thing that works (not always but sometimes) is hit the back button on the browser a couple times. At the very least you can sometimes get the post back so you can cut and paste it in again.
Generally I copy before I hit post; just in case..lol

I love those old keys. Nice finds. I've had the file size is too large fiasco happen to me also. I like some of the ideas here to remedy that. I always make sure my pictures are small enough before adding them to the post. I think the figure is 256K and below.

I have had the entire thread I was posting disappear also....usually if I hit the back key, I can find it again . Before I post ....I do a right click copy, just in case I lose it .Then I can paste if I do
