There is no telling what he says about you, soooo, it would be a tough call since I don't know him but to , if hes around when you are making a contact for hunting a special place, you might want to watch him.

My son-in-law has a friend who use to try to out do him at every cornor--tryng to get married 1st, trying to have a kid 1st, getting a certain collectable item 1st, nobody could figure out why, just kinda quit havin anything to with him not rudly just kinda drift away, still spoke , but in a few short years he changed and is a better friend , on 2nd wife no kids of his own pretty good uncle though, but hes tring to push for all events to take place at his house now, eveyone else wants to take turns, sooo what ever comes, comes, hes changed enough that I think it will be ok.

I dont think you should sweat it! It seems like he has issues anyway with the lying and stuff. He has already given you a good look at his true character and if you ask me Honesty doesn't mean much to him!!
I have heard all the stories about guys digging up 50 dollar gold pieces and a sack full of 20 dollar gold coins......blah blah blah, but they werent anybody that I would call a friend. A true friend wouldnt lie let alone over a stupid story like the ones he is coming up with. Its your call to wack him back but it was just out of guilt anyway. You stick with being yourself and you cant lose. 8)

If he will lie to you about the little things that dint mean anything.,..then he will lie about the big stuff too....as long as you know all this...just laugh at his feeble attempts to outdo you and move on....unless of course you need him around for some odd ball reason ....or unless of course this entire thread is just a big lie and you did it to entertain us ...which of course we were ...and if you are the one lying..and I am not accusing you of lying ...just saying as in a hypothetical way ...if you were.....well I guess we will keep you because you are pretty funny and can weave a dang good story.,...but then again...if you aren't lying ...go back to the beginning of my post and start reading again ..... :P :P :P

I figure when he B.S.'s me with his Shoebox full of Gold Chains,
Uncirculated War Pennies, and other Items that don't look like they ever touched ground,

I just B.S. him & Pretend I believe him.

Dosn't effect me in the Least.

Sometimes Some people just think it's the only way you'll respect them
is if they out do you. so I let him have is Fun.

Well, since he made the challenge you get to choose the weapons. I'd challenge him to detectors at the local park. One hour to see who detects more - bathing suits & T-shirts (no pockets to bring "seed finds"). Flag only the coins/keepers and let neutral parties dig the flagged hits.
