Has to be the oldest coin i have ever seen posted. Awesome job

I want to thank everyone for the kind comments and votes of confidence. A find of this date is just simply unknown for SC. Video of the hunt will go over next Thursday. I've been doing this a long time...Still stunned.

That's an exciting find, congrats!

Outstanding Greg!! Love those unique early finds. A couple months ago I dug a dated 1670 Bristol merchant's token here in SE Virginia. Surprises like that are always nice.

Congrats on the banner find. Enjoy the feeling, that's what this hobby is all about.

most excellent!!

Another amazing find to add to your collection Greg! :occasion14:

Congratulations on making BANNER #2 as well my friend!

Congratulations...what a SPECIAL coin you have brought to life!

Great early token!

I have been familiar with these for many years now, but took me a few years, and many times looking at the rotted one I had to recognize it for what it is. Far too gone to ID though, which is too bad, but these all date to the mid. 1600s so still cool to have one.

Cru, we must used the same book as mine also says 1660. Or like is the case new books often copy old books, mistakes and all.

Nice find wherever it was found. l love traders tokens.. Hutch.

Congratulations on the BANNER. A Great find ! :occasion14:

Awesome find!!! Best i seen in awhile.

Absolutely incredible find and congrats on the banner- totally worthy to be up there!

Congrats on a well deserved banner, since I've been on here I've seen less than 5 posted on Tnet from your side of the pond.

As these are thin brass (mostly) they don't hold up so well, & of the 20 or so we find a year, maybe only 1 or 2 come out as nice as that.

Hi; AWESOME Find. I vote BANNER. Congrats. :headbang: PEACE:RONB
