OK, no boxes of halves this week, but getting more next week so did the following:
Quarter Bag ($500): Skunk, shocking.... Some day I'll get one in a bag here.... I'm not giving up!
Nickel Bag ($100): War nic
Box of Dimes ($250): Skunk!
Box of Nickels: 2 X War nic and one dateles Buffalo (forgot to scan the Buffalo)
Box of Nickels: 2 X War nic and 1938 Jeff
Bag of Nickels: 1 X War nic
Bag of Dimes ($500): 5 X Silver Roosies and my coolest find yet this year! A 1945 D Silver Ten Centavos from the Phillipines! It's in very nice shape. See detailed scans of front/back. I've seen these in the Redbook and thought "that would be cool to find one"... Wow! Our first silver foreign dime size coin (kinda foreign as it was made in Denver and the PI was part of the US back then).
Also found a lot of British coins in the bags this week. Found a 1 Pound, two 50 Pence, six 20 Pence, three 10 Pence, three 5 Pence, and two 1 Pence. Somebody must have been on a trip and put them in the coin counter... Oh well, my daughter has about 10 lbs of foreign coins in her collection. She claims to be rich in Canada and now England
Finally, just for a little gravy on top, went to Walmart today for errands and asked for halves like we always do at the bank there (had my 14 year old CRHer with me). One of the tellers said she had three. Pulled out two 1941 walkers and a clad! SWEET! One for me, and one for my daughter. Pretty nice ending to a pretty big CRH week for us. We now have 121 war nics this year towards our goal of 200. Going to have to hit 5 boxes/week for rest of the year to make I think.
