On the first esp. of TREASURE QUEST THIS WAS THE wreck they were looking for.

it is amazing! i think it was the original "Victory", the one before Our Nel's Victory...

That is really cool. I've always wanted a cannon. ;D

That is a crazy awesome find!!! Wouldn't the English Treasure Act apply here? The Odyssey probably already knows where the gold is, they are experienced enough to keep their mouths shut and try to work a reasonable deal especially after what Spain is trying pull over on them. I will keep my eyes open as to what is happening with this find. Must be a lot laying in the bottom of the English Channel to include a big part of the Spanish Armada, LOL. Thanks for the post, I had not seen it yet. HH, Mike

Mate, your late; I read it yesterday. ;D ;D :tongue3:

Yeah they did find quite the treasure wreck.

I'd pay for my own flight all my expenses just to help out

GREAT DOSCOVERY. SHOULD BE ALOT THERE.

I would pay to help if I could take home Gold ! ;D

Keep @ it and HH!!

Gotta get one of those sidescan sonars for the canoe!

The episode of Treasure Quest (episode 2) that reveals the discovery airs tonight (Thurs) on the Discovery Channel. I'm looking forward to it. On the east coast episode 1 airs at 9pm followed by episode 2 at 10pm. I believe episode 2 repeats on Saturday at 2pm.

I saw that. Now the big question............ who has the rights to the finds ???

Well if ? the law is the same as finds found on english soil the finder should get the value of the find, but maybe not the finds themselves. I think though it will get very complicated, after all this is a find worth hundreds of millions. And this was a crown owned vessel and the cargo was logged and it's owners known. What do you think should happen ?. If the ship was American and found in US waters what would happen then ?.
