WW1 Canadian Miliatry Badge

Two good hunts in a row for me, this is in great condition front and back, it is a WW1 Canadian Military Badge, with the word "Perseverance" on the top and the words "Lord Strathcona's Horse Royal Canadians" around the center peice. It's heavy and sure looks like some silver but I dodnt see any hallmarks.
