Need a bit of help in identifying this medallion, coin or metal. It's obvious where it's from, but I can't find anything on the web about when it was given or by who.thanks

Very nice! I've not seen any like that myself, so no help here, sorry. Would like to see some cleaned up pics, that might help some of the token or WWI aces on here a chance to nail down a positive i.d. Great save, Ddf.
 
Nice find. And yes I agree, some cleaned pics showing the writing better may help in getting an ID :icon_thumleft:
