Very nice!

The back looks to be a close match of these.

"WWII Aerial Gunner Wing, Sterling Silver by Weingarten Gallery."

"In World War II the Aerial Gunner Badge (Wings) was awarded to gunner of a combat crew. The badge was established on April 29, 1943. This is a very well made sterling silver museum quality reproduction of this 2 inch wing with pin back of the AMICO design. The 2 inch size is worn on the shirt uniform."

Anything on the back like a makers mark? How big are they? Being unmarked could make them a sweetheart pin.

2 inches long no markings!

At 2 inches I'm putting my money on a sweetheart pin. The ones I've seen that were placed on uniforms were longer than that and always marked on the back. The only exception were later wings but they were clutchbacks and yours is a pinback.

The Army Air Forces in World War II had a wide variety of wings and badges to signify qualifications and standings. Most of the badges were available in the standard 3" size for use on the tunic and the 2" shirt size which were worn when the shirt was the outer garment. You'll often hear the 2" size referred to as "sweet heart" wings since so many were sent home to loved ones.
