Re: Minelab X-Terra 50 vdi numbers

Nice post. i have a xterra30 and have been trying to figure these numbers out. Ever have the numbers change for a coin depending on where you hunt?

Hi Korban
It might be a little different since the X-Terra 30 only has 1 Ferrous & 11 non-Ferrous compaired to the X-Terra 50 which has 3 Ferrous & 15 non Ferrous

I hope this info. help you.

Hey thanks for the info. Enjoy MDing

Nice post! It looks like only the numbers -9,-6,-3, 3,15 and 18 are not represented. I would have thought the positive numbers would have hit on something? Maybe I'll just notch those out! Thanks!

How deep are you finding coins with the x 50, and dose it recover fast from bad to good on coins.thanks for any help you can give. ;D ;D

I have the Xterra 70 and notice the numbers will change a bit from one freq coil to another. Example is I like the high freq round DD coil and it will read 44 or 46 on a quarter but the medium freq round DD coil I have reads 42 on a quarter just like the stock concentric. Something to keep in mind since they use different freq coils.

I found a boat load of quarters today and most were reading at 45 :dontknow:

Numbers change with the ground conditions and by other targets that are near, especially iron. All quarters on mine read a solid 42 when found alone. HH
