X-terra 705 ??

Can someone.explain the difference between the 705 and 705 gold pac? I've looked at the minelab website, but I don't know anything about MD's, so any help or advice anybody can give would be greatly appriciated. Thanks in advance, skeeter

There is NO difference in the detector itself. It's just the coil. The Gold Pac comes with a 18.75 Khz elliptical coil which is good for finding small pieces of gold. Many other coils are available, starting with the 3 KHz coils that are really good for silver......and so on. VERY good and versatile detector!!!

You're welcome. You wouldn't go wrong with an Xterra 705. Having the ability to change frequencies by changing the coil is awesome. There are many different coils available for the 705. As you learn the machine and figure out what your needs are......you can add different frequency and size coils to match your hunting needs. There is a lot of info out there on the 705 if you research it. It's a very advanced VLF detector......yet very easy to learn.
