Sweeping got a good solid hit dug the hole nothing swept the hole nothing no sound no vid on screen was in am mode hit pin point showed target dead center back into am nothing gave up after 18" what's up with that ?

Probably a deep deep BIG target. Raise the coil several inches above the ground. Still hit it? If so its BIG!

Lost target except for in pin point mode but only after coil was in the hole Would not sound off in any mode only in pin point

Still sounds like something big and ugly.

I've found that the machine doesn't lie. If it says that there's something down there, there is. It may not be entirely honest about what it is, but it's doing it's best.
