XP is poorly

Well after about six years faultless use, the XP as finally got ill. It looks like it's finally fallen to the common fault of a break in the cable, just below the control box. Hopefully it can be repaired, without needing a new search head. Got an old Laser B3 so will be ok for now. This is a picture of a recent lead Medieval seal matrix 12th/13th, and some more from the same site.

never had more than 1 off one site, what kind of site was it?

Never say die....I would replace mine in a flash if I had to, can't survive without it now

It's a village site, the present village is tiny. I think in Medieval times though the village must have been bigger. Bro John's had another two lead seals off it and two short cross in the last couple of weeks. One of the short cross is Northampton mint king John.

I was lucky there was no internal damage and was able to epoxy it back together.

You have some great site Rob I think I need to help you on them my first coil on the XP went after a year, (cable break) and I went through three with the Lobo my cable went near the bottom, aparently a common place to go
