Xterra 50 vs 70

question for the xterra crowd?
is there a huge difference between the 50 and the 70 besides the price? In average soil how does depth and target responses compare between the 2? If i have no forseeable need for gold prospecting how does the 50 compare to say an M6?

M6 Is 14Khz which is not as hot on copper and silver as the lower frequencies available for the xterra.
