Don't get discouraged if the "Y" rod dosen't work for you. They don't respond for me either. That happens to some people. I don't have a clue as to why that is, but it happens. The only things that I can use is the "L" rods and pendulum. With the "l" rod, ask a yes or no question that you know the answer to. With he rods, at least with me, the rods will swing together for a YES response and swing out for NO. With the pendulum, for me, a YES is a circle made by the swing and NO is a back and forth swing. I would like to suggest that you check the internet for american society of dowsers, www.asd.com. There you will find the address of the local club of the society in your area. Give them a call and attend their next meeting. Most clubs are open to the public and they welcome questions.

Thanks for the replies, at least I am not the only one.
Yes we can use l-rods, and a pendulum, and they work very good.
