I think this is a stamp out says arrow presents ten nights in a barroom. Its backwards I used a mirror to read it. Looked it up and it was a play back in 1800's

that stamp is an old newspaper print block

The U.S. half cents certainly don't turn up too often. Congrats on a great find! :thumbsup:
 
Nice find on the half cent, I have dug alot of large cents but never a half cent its definitely on my wish list
 
I know what you mean, it was cool, when I first saw it I new it wasn't a LC. Thought at first it was a two cent.

looks to me like a woman's sash belt buckle, probably about 1890-1910-ish
 
Very cool finds! You had me going there for a bit, I too was trying to figure out the dead lizard thing lol! Very awesome! I'm still looking for a half cent.
