Don't say it ain't cuz' I already told my boy Wyte Sac it's legit. I'mma throw it in da' dishwasha' then wear it, unless someone know how to clean it proper. One more thing: what do dis be?

I know your smarter than you sound, I think you have a Box plate not a buckle. look at the studs on the back are there 3 or 2 Someone can tell you how to clean it here Im sure

Buckleboy, can I clean it wit' soap? What about hydrogen peroxide? And, do you think it's real? It look like the ones on ebay, but I don't want to get my hopes up. 'Preciate ya!

Yeah ,I agree with it being a box plate. The other item looks to be a eagle button. I woulnd't do to much cleaning on it as it looks pretty good the way it is. Nice finds.

I agree, it is a box plate. But it is a plate and a very nice find. And don't clean it any more than you already have.

The Buckle looks great, leave it alone!!! The button, looks like an Eagle button. I think I would go back to that site, slowwwwwwwwww way down and dig all signals. Looks like a Great site.

I'd leave it as-is, Patrick Earl. I feel absolutely certain it's real--in dug condition (and obviously in the ground for a long time)...there are replica plates out there, but most of the ones that aren't marked as replicas are something more valuable than a U.S. oval plate.
