I've been seeing a pair of these Black-Headed Grosbeaks around most of the summer. They are pretty skittish, so I set up my blind and waited. They were still nervous about the blind and took about an hour for them to come in. The male was in the setting I wanted. Couldn't get the female in a natural setting, but did get her on the feeder.

The other two are mainly just boredom shots while waiting for the Grosbeaks.

We have doves around here, but those other two I've never seen.

Wow! from the looks of the picture, you could defiantly put salt on the tails of those birds. You sure know how to operate that camera.

It pains me, but just stopped feeding the birds. I accepted an offer for my place a couple of days ago. Have to be out in a month.
