Fairly new here. I've been lurking for a couple of months, now. Just wanted to share a yard sale find my father picked up for me last summer. He got a crate of Indian artifacts for $100.00. 45 or 46 pieces in all.

He drove down the road to a pay phone and asked me if I wanted them. The guy was selling them for $125.00 and my father said he could probably get them for $100.00. He was right. I'm glad I decided to answer my father's call!

The 2nd pic is of, what I was told, a poison mixing bowl. They would dip the arrow tips into this to coat with poison. I'm not sure, though.

Thanks for looking.

Nice group of artifacts. i would say your father got a great deal on these for only $100. some celts sell for quite a bit.

Thanks for sharing these with us. I was raised on a farm in Ohio and we would hoe the crops by hand during the summers and I have a bunch of arrowheads and other things found because of the presences of walking slowly and looking at the weeds/ground acre after acre..

I would post this in the American Indian Artifacts forum, those guys are really good at this stuff.
