Nice finds. Congrats. The largest piece with the long flat side may have sustained an impact there and broke it.

Nice. I bet the large one is another heavy duty. Not sure on the others but you can bet they are far older than the trail of tears event.

Nice finds and agree with Garscale on the trail of tears. Their technology was already ruined and lost at that time.

The smaller ones are bird points i know that and the white one is curved..

You hear a lot about the trail of tears, how rough of a trip it was. Many died on the way. What I rarely hear is why the Cherokee were sent west to begin with. It's because they sided with the British during the Revolutionary War. They chose the wrong side and suffered their fate. Gary

The lower point is made from Cobden flint from So. IL. Union County. Not all that far from you. Gary
