year 3: the park that has seen more coils than a matress factory = silver

[port ewen ace]

this place has more iron than a nail factory, more bottle caps than a truckload of Coors and enough pulltabs to go around Hillary's hips 'till the cows come home. hits per sq. foot= 6. ran the AT-Pro in pro zero at 6 bars and barely wiggled the coil over 1/8 of an acre. Rosie was down 8", Buff at 4" on rocky ledge, war nic. cuddling with the iron at 4". the $2 in clad covered my gas. every md'er has hit this place for 30+ years and it still gives silver. did not care about quantity, just want every last old coin or relic. a true sniper mission

Love the title of the thread .... way to pull the goodies out

[park pirate]

Nice...

[basque-man]

Way cool!!! Nice saves!!!!

[Loco-Digger]

You are making me think about some areas I have hunted. Gotta slow down and dig all those whispers and iffy's. I also love the title and your opening line. Your patience and skills paid off...

[cjon455]

theres something more enjoyable about pulling keepers from a public place that's been pounded to death!

great job pulling those 5!

[Joe hunter]

Nice finds love finding silver in hunted areas I've revisited spots where I missed silver

[port ewen ace]

another day at the park= another silver. she is showing her age at 97back again today before the storms hit

It's like you're a born again metal detectorist with that new AT Pro. Now that you're really learning the machine I'm thinking you should hit a lot of the places that were good to you in the past and see if you can find anymore goodies. There has to be stuff left you didn't find with the Ace 250

[stewielouie]

I love my AT, I find myself barely using my MXT anymore..... Something about those lighter tones.

[Msbeepbeep]

Awesome finds! Nice learned skill, the ability to hunt trashy, pounded areas and still pull up the goodies.

[port ewen ace]

I learned how to wiggle the coil by watching Miley Cyrus videos. today was a silver skunk, just scant clad before the rain hit

[Fingerlakes119]

Nice finds. I like to hunt those hunted out areas. It makes me work harder and try different things. Gives me a better feeling than grabbing easy loot from virgin ground. The main thing is you have to put your coil over it first or you won't find it.

Sincerely
George

Hello Port Ewen Ace,

Nice recoveries! Keep up the good work.

People are in too much a hurry today; "slow sweep speed and scrape the ground with the coil while sweeping" and the goodies will sing out to you!

I love working very trashy places, improves my detecting skills.

Regards,

Great silvers.

Nice job.
