Information about pickups: most coin was customer rolled from a rural area, but a significant amount comes from cities. The halves come almost entirely from hand rolls or loose, as machine rolls are almost impossible to find a regular basis.

Happy New Year!

Very thorough. Our wheats are somewhat similar. I searched $4,400 and found 2,100. Better luck next year. PJ

I love the stats. One of my goals this year is to keep better track of the amount searched. I have trouble keeping track of customer rolls that I happen to pick up during the day. How do you track you coins?

Puts my record keeping to shame. Still trying to find 3 of the 4 barber dimes I picked up last month.
Either the cat got them or the wife. ;D

Wow - great stats there. I only track finds and boxes. I started tracking customer rolls but gave up on that quickly. :headbang:

I really appreciate the stats on the Indian Head Cents. I think the kids and I will do a few grand in cents this year. It would be great to find a few IH's. Your stats give me some hope.

I write all the pick ups in a notebook and then transfer it to excel. I also keep track of which banks I get them from and other identifying characteristics, but those stats aren't as interesting

Good year and nice record keeping. I threw in the towel in my excel tracking a couple years ago...I do know results have been on a steady decline.
