Nokta FoRs Gold, a Gold Cube, 2 Keene Sluices and Lord only knows how many pans....not to mention a load of other gear my wife still doesn't know about!

You are correct! The last time I was there, the park ranger said twelve people had already been attacked! I even saw a knucklehead sneaking up on a bull moose with his camera on a tripod. Get a zoom lens, it's safer!

Sneaking up on a moose without an escape plan is a bad idea....

1500 lb. animals tend to lean to the *fight* side of the flight or fight
response, and when they turn on their little 185 lb. attacker (knucklehead)
it generally doesn't end well for the knucklehead.

No offense to anyone, but city people should be required to have a local
guide with them while their out in the wilds. It would save both people
and animal lives.
