Here's pictures after cleaning both coins from yesterday. There's no doubt now that the king Charles I shilling is a copper fake. The weight at two grams also confirms this, should I think, be about six grams. This makes the Charles I fake, a rare beast indeed. So two firsts in one session. I was more than pleased with the Charles II silver three pence. Robert.
