Yesterday at the beach

We're having some nice minus tides this week, so, off to the beach to see what my buddy and I could find. Some areas have lost quite a bit of sand. In one of them, I hit gold! Just a 10K, but, at 4.4 grams, it's still about $240 worth of gold.

Congrats on the gold! Are you getting any large swells/wave action down in SD with those King Tides? Headed out today in LA but our swells have been small so no crazy erosion on the beaches I've checked so far.

I got an old iPhone from the beach a few months back and sold it to the machine at Walmart for $16 non working

Plenty of surf, but, most beaches aren't getting much erosion.....a few are though, in spots.

My Brother lives in Alpine and I keep trying to get him down there to give you some competition. LOL But he is a bass fisherman so the lakes call him more than detecting.

The phone is total junk. It looks like it had been in the salt water for quite a while. It's all swollen and has pieces broken off of it.

Congratulations, I saw the minus tides coming a few weeks ago and planned to go Friday. Well plans change and I’m going to the beach today.

The phone is total junk. It looks like it had been in the salt water for quite a while. It's all swollen and has pieces broken off of it.

Battery could splode. keep it in a tin and out of the house.
