When I want to go in the water I use my Beach Hunter 300. I find it's better to have dedicated machines for land and water. One that does both may not be great at either.:icon_thumleft:

Great deal! Can't wait to see the review, do you have any salt water you can play in?

I will be going to Daytona at Christmas and Easter so it will get a workout there too.

Not a,bad looking machine

Good luck with it. Please get out a out it thru the paces. Let us know what u think about its performance.

Hey! Give us your first impressions of the MX5 after your first hunt! Let us know! Hope it does well!

$100 cheaper than ATPro?? so $500? that' is great deal. any updates on reviews? I've read write-up on whites forum and liked what I read from slyfox's review.

Hey Landlord Jim, have you ever used it yet? How about some reviews!

lets here hows she rips

I've heard its a turn on and go machine. Can you manually ground balance this machine? I've got the M6 with Ground tracking and I just wandered if it worked the same program. Thanks and please keep us updated.

Haven't heard anything from you about the MX5, Landlord Jim. Give us some news and opinion on it.

Must have hated it?

"Whites guys" don't hate ANY Whites, even if they do!

Man fella your a little tough on us... Lol
What if I have a V3i and an ATPro? :)

Nice detector on its own, but a great choice to back up the DFX, MXT, V series of machines as it uses the same coils.

Naw, not really! Same could be said for ANY brand loyal user!

Since you still have an ATP, you're not really brand loyal so you're safe! :laughing7:

I purchased my MX5 last week. I got mine for $465. I am using an SEF 10x12 coil on mine. I have pulled 5 coins at 9"+ so far. I am really liking the MX5.
