Yesterday's BIG "find"

Not that this place was that great, but it was always reliable for a few bucks in quarters and an occasional silver ring. I had not been there in over a year. @#$%&! Signs like this make us all look like outlaws. I'm so mad steam is coming out of my ears.

IMHO they are too trashy for the trouble is causes......if you like tin foil, and tight grass, and new coins :icon_scratch:
Now the sidelines can be done with less "moral" fuss.....but even still kind of hard to detect, I opt for playground near the field, and near the concessions
Naaah, wandering through the fields themselves can be very rewarding. You get to find all kinds of the flipper coins ref's use at the start of the game, and all the jewelry people stick in their pockets then lose later while playing. Plus, there's been very little trash on the fields themselves, I've found. Most of it comes from the sidelines and the grassy areas between the fields.

Truley bogus! The sign looks entirely fake, some :tard: probably also found your site a reliable source for a few dollars and an occasional silver ring, maybe decided to put up a sign to safe guard it from other detectorists. After all nobody would know exactly who put it up there not even coaches or the township, or you. Nobody would know who took it down either, I carry scissors with me, they come in handy for cutting through all sorts of plastics and such, and I always throw away my trash ...

Re: Yesterday's BIG "find"

i think the sign was put there on a clause to do with Public liability Insurance and conditions of playing surface by the sports club which will be in the rules of game. They to have to protect themselves from stupid law suits.

I think the best way to rid the world of signs like this is change Liability laws.
