Probably my last hunt of the year… snow has fallen and it will probably stick around.. got out for a bit yesterday, and walked up to this point, likely a woodland era Koster/ apple blossom or cedar valley…. 2 3/4” in length….✌️

Nice knife. Someone liked the way that one performed as It's been resharpened a few times. You sure do find a lot that has unfinished bases (not that it is a hafting requirement)--just an observation. Heck, I'd like to find one of any kind!

I passed on three smaller bucks, the 2 big boys I’ve seen were way out of range

i passed on a few “smaller” bucks… the big boy was way out of my range… not done yet, I’ll be getting back out after gun season…✌️

Nice point! And ditto what TDog said. Someone else liked it too at one point.

As for deer season, I had a hammer sneak up behind me and nearly caught me with my pants down. Was close too—maybe 45 yards. He saw me first and when I wheeled around with my muzzleloader he was already showing me the taillights. I still had a shot but wasn’t gonna shoot him in his—.
