Got out for a whopping 12 hours after work yesterday (that's why I'm at home today; too sore to go out diggin'
). I had a pretty good day. Highlights: near mint '52d Roosie dug at only one inch deep (silver coin no. 59 for the year)!!, '19 buffalo (my oldest buff dug to date
), 7 wheats ('09 vdb (my 2nd), '20, '30, '40, '41d, '42, '51d), small sterling earring, "attendance" pin, and about $6 in clad (not pictured). The '09 vdb wheat and the '19 buffalo were an old timey pocket spill (found within 6" of each other @ the same depth) found behind a fallen log. I'm glad it's starting to get chilly here, as it means I can resume woods hunting (lots of good finds), and, best of all, NO MORE SKEETERS!!!!!!!!!!!! Pics below. Enjoy!!
