Yesterday's finds

I woke up to four inches of snow. This spring as been long, and short on hunts. Yesterday I need to head down a 1000 feet for an appointment. When I got down there, I was back on bare ground. I have a site that was not far away, and took the afternoon looking it over. Still I am not finding the killer whole points, but had a great time getting out. This is what was found. Would love to find those! You had a great day!

Snow? I would stay at that 1000' mark. Gotta be a good one in there somewhere with all you are finding. Good luck.

:laughing7: Tnmountains, I am living right now at 10,000 feet I dropped down to 9,000 feet. The site is massive and has several lithic's from quarries of Windy Ridge quartsite, Kremiling Chert, Trout creek chert, and obsidian from??? either western Wyoming or my guess New mexico. I have found some nice artifacts on the site, including a channel flake from a Folsom. This is a view from a ways away but in the same area.DSCN0415.webp

Nice hunt Chase. Pic #4 isnt that a mano laying on the ground? The stone looks like it has use wear on it. You have allot of nice Lithics in your area.

You guys are good! Nice spot on that Mano. I was taking a In-Situ pic of a obsidian point,(very broken point) as I was standing up and by accident I took a pic. I put it in for the In-situ and did not look at the Mano, that was also taken. I do not normally pick them up, but this was fairly decent. Also I showed a Insitu pic of a Bi-face, it is made of Trout Creek chert, and most likely was discarded. Here is the rest of the pic's DSCN0425.webpDSCN0427.webpDSCN0412.webpDSCN0438.webpDSCN0441.webp
