Yesterdays hunt reveals Confederate Button

Hey guys! Hunted at an old homesite where Mike (woodland Detectors) scored a nice VA button a few weeks back. It was so HOT and BUGGY I could hear my pulse through my headphones lol. The targets were thin in the yard but I manged to find the HUGE dandy button and a small cuff flat button that has evaporated since I found it :icon_scratch:

I was about to go home skunked when I found the IHP which is actually a real nice 98. ANd as it grew darker i hit a target that sounded good and at about 6 inches came my very own Va Confederate Button. My 5th Confederate button of 2011! Its pushed in real bad but has great detail so ill take it for sure! Horstman Backmark. Thanks for looking guys!

Congrats on nice finds James. We are getting a relief over the next week with some cooler weather, hope you guys get some relief down there as well.

Thanks ! Yeah its supposed to cool off some this weekend. Down to 90 from 100 doesnt seem to cool to me :icon_scratch:

Great finds. I haven't seen very many Confederate buttons being found lately. And yours is a beauty!
