Today I went detecting and found another first! My first V nickel, 1908. I also scored on 3 mercs! 40,43,45. AND...a button which is currently in the WHAT IS IT section cause I am not sure what it is other than a military button. I also found a 7 wheats. I found another cool school "thingy" and ill post more pics later. Thanks for looking.

Billy

The button is a current US Army Great Seal Button from 1902 to present.

You are tearing up East Tennessee Billy. Congrats on the "V" and the silver. Your button looks like a Great Seal button used from 1902-present. HH, Quindy.

Anything on the back of the PHS '19 badge? P????? High School, class of 1919? Any towns or high schools nearby that start with P and have been around for 90 years?

BTW, nice Merc. But it's those V nickels I really like.
