Yet another score for Dad and Tanner $1000 dimes and $50 cents (with pics)
There is one bank in metro Detroit that will consistently sell us bags of coins. It is a bit out of the way but when ever I am in that part of town, I will stop in to see what the have. This time they had $1000 bag of dimes and $50 in cents.
$1000 DIMES:
scored 6 rosies and one King George. Also a clad proof 2016 s. The bummer part was there were 170 cents in the bag. witch translates into a $17 loss. I dumped them with some other coin so I am not sure how off the bag was. next time I will just dump the dimes to see the true results.
$50 CENT: My first and second handfull had a wheat in it. This was a good sign for the bag. The wheats just keep coming more and more and more. We ended up with 188 common wheats. 2 Inidan heads both 1900. 8 100 year old coins including the Indians. 5 steel 1943 cents. a 1932 d (mintage 4.5 million)Needed for the found in the wild book
.
There also appears to be a lamination error on a 1944 cent.
Again Tanner is away a college and missed searching these bagS.
