One of my neighbors lost his cat for several days and was just in tears looking for her, so I offered to use Yogi to track her. So this morning we went over, and used one of the cats toys to scent on, and Yogi picked up the scent right away. We covered a two block area back and forth for about a half an hour, Yogi kept going back to one of the garages several times, and we finally found the cat trapped in the garage of a neighbor.
The guy was so happy he hugged and kissed Yogi for several minutes. Its so nice to find lost pets alive!
Dano & Yogi.

Now THAT'S a find!!! Congrats!! :-)

Great post. With the world in such a terrible mess...even a little good news is most appreciated. Yogi gets to pick the restaurant the next time you got out to eat!

Great story - nice pics - terrific dog/friend/TH'ing partner

Thanks for posting in 'Todays Finds', or I might never have seen your post. :)
Very inspiring story, and I bet the owner was overjoyed.

Looks like a legitimate find to me and I'm a grumpy old man. M :-* nty

What a beautiful find! Glad the cat is OK!! High 5 to Yogi! I made an awesome find 2. I found a baby bird, saw mom and dad frantically flying around, and then I put the baby in his nest. Very happy mom and dad.

I'm glad that I returned it to the right nest. I was afraid the little guy would die, and I am partial to birds. I hand fed a baby blue jay for a few days before giving it up to a nature center.

I really like to watch birds as you probably know already from my post in Everything Else....except those Starlings. They carry disease in their droppings that is harmful to human beings. Anywhere they roost the ground soon becomes saturatd with droppings. They also splatter my car like dive bombers especially right after I wash it! I'm not sorry to say I have probably orphaned a few babies when chasing them off my trees. Most "songbirds" are protected species except Starlings and the City Fathers encourage you to terminate them when possible. M >:( nty

That's sad. I could never kill any birds. The only thing I kill is spiders. Only because some of the bites I have received. Last summer I was bitten on my back, left a nasty scar. It was like my skin just disinagrated around the bite, I thought at first a brown recluse. It was a terrible nightmare for me. So yes, I kill spiders, but that's the extent of the killing for me.

Great story Dano,,, Congrats to you and Yogi on a job well done...
Good luck, & Happy hunting~

Well done Yogi! Too cute! Love the big droopy ears. Wanted a BH for S&R before I got Malk but was grossed out by the constant drooling. :D Give him a big sloppy smooch for me.
