Zeros CRH LOG

Brinks half box #157: skunk

Brinks half box #158: skunk

I did get some silver that my mom left after her passing this year. We did have lunch earlier this year after I did a CRHunt and she gave me a few 64 halves as a surprise. It's a great memory, and the last time she and I spent time together one on one before her sudden decline.

These are my first silver quarters.

November silver keepers from hunting: 31

It didn't feel like a decent month but it turned out alright.

Yeah...disappointing, but hey...its been a standout year for CRHing. Keep on rolling.

Had a nice little hunt around town.

$150 Cwr halves: 2-40%
$100 mwr halves: 2-40%
$117 loose halves: 1-Ben and 2-40%

Given that I only visited 9 banks, I was pleased with the results. Also, one of the banks has $190 cwr halves that I can pick up tomorrow. That's a nice number for some solid rolls (here's hoping).

Keep on rolling and Merry Christmas!

Good luck with the $190. That does sound promising!

No boxes this week due to the holidays. I'm adding two more boxes a week for a total of 4 a week for the next few months. I hope I can keep my dump banks happy.

Ended the year with 130 ozt of silver and 753 silver keepers. This was a stand out year more than doubling my results from previous years. Here's hoping for another great year in 2016.

Happy New Year and keep on rolling!

Decent start to the new year with 1.68ozt. I also got a "401" box which is code for silver. Two more boxes coming at the end of the week. Keep on rolling.

Zero: is there any truth to the "401" code on the box AS SILVER? Never seen or heard of that code being used before, but for which coin processor? Please elaborate?

Well...the 401 code is just a pattern that has occurred with my Brinks boxes. My dream box last year had it as well as several decent boxes hand written on the top. If I was going to guess, I would think that it is a particular branch with a coin counting machine (not many in my region). So, it means silver to me.

Did some CRHunting and dumping today. Got three 40% from a teller tray, and a $330 picked over dump that surprised me with two 40%. Nothing amazing, but five more for the stack.

$36 loose halves: 3-40%
$330 cwr: 2-40%
$20 Ike's: skunk

Quick hunt yielded nothing.

$30 cwr halves: skunk

Got a couple of boxes coming today.

It keeps trickling in with 10 more keepers today. I hit one bank while I was getting groceries before the Jonas storm, and I also picked up my two Thursday half boxes at my pickup bank.

Brinks half box #169: 2-64, 3-40%
Brinks half box #170: 1-64, 3-40%

$10 loose halves: 1-40%
$50 cwr halves: skunk

I really like seeing those 1964's. Slow and steady gets the silver.
