identification

Hello every one I am new to the forum! My name is Taylor, from Marysville, Washington. I have a collection of items, I am not sure what they are. I would appreciate any info you may have.

I found this on a beach near Otter Ferry, Scotland. I'm inexperienced at identification so I was hoping someone else knew the answer. Hey so I found this U.S. uniform button metal detecting around the house. I was wondering if anyone knew what kind of uniform it comes from? The eagle doesnt have a shield and has a crown above its head. Please help! Also there is no writing on the back because it rusted out.
