Three small sites today is what I hit.One was colonial,One was mid to late 1800's,& one was a indian site. The colonial site gave up the two buttons pewter,& a weird one that seems to be lead filled I think it's like some others I have that the lead has gone from also another piece of flint from a flint lock some scrap pewter & a few musket shot's.The rest is from the mid to late 1800's site.the indian site would not give up a point so picked up some more pottery.Like I need some more of that. But Indian pottery is getting hard to find or at least the large pieces so when I can I pick them up.Enjoy.........
Take Care,
Pete, :hello:

Nice recoveries... I've pulled out some nice looking pewters like that in a Rev War site and my blood was pumping until I noticed there was nothing on it.
keep the finds pouring in :icon_thumright:

Thanks Gentlemen,
This explains the shells & why they were at the site.I knew that shell was big for a 38 not the same 38 I use too. :laughing7:

Thanks everyone, :notworthy: The hoyt's cologne bottle turned out good in the cleaning.Back when I use to bottle hunt I'd find them quite often at late 1800's home sites. They also made a dime cologne too.Bells cologne would show up from time to time as well. But these three came from MD'ing.
Take Care,
Pete, :hello:
