me and sonny when to a new site to he found some flat buttons and a nice 1908 i,h penny, i found some spoons and some flat buttons then my dfx give that nice tone at 3 1/2 ins i found a 1831 bust dime thanks for looking ps the back is rotation by 30%

Now that's an excellent type coin. Strong detail, and a desirable one for collectors with regards to condition. Well done! And well dug too!

I have a hunch that at 3 1/2 inches most detectors would have done just as well...however finding the site in the first place might have been another story!
