I came back on board the Polly L yesterday, will be out a week or more.

Saw Tommy Gore at Capt. Butcher's, he is working south of Sabastain Inlet.

i read that the Endeavor and the Virgalona are working this year.:b

I have a friend who has been researching the general area using topographical maps. She tells me she might be onto something big. It has to do with the depth of sand and underground reefs near or on shore. I thought this interesting due to some boats blowing holes next to the shoreline.

My partner Dick Donovan & I have been working Cabin site this year on the "Sandy D".I'm working by proxy from home for a few days.Dick was out last Saturday, vis. was bad as usual.John ,thanks again for party last month, had great time & met a lot of nice people.Dell, still working on your trunion I.D.Ivan,same for you on the French cuff link.Been having tons of internet problems.Main thing I wanted to post is TODAY IS DIVERLYNN'S BIRTHDAY!!!!Can't remember is she 29,39 or 49????All of you out there have a wonderful 4th weekend.Take care.Tom

Today is July 18th 2009. I was shocked to see the Polly-L docked? in the Fort Pierce Inlet? I thought this was/is the height of treasure hunting season along the treasure coast?

I f I owned a treasure hunting boat...

It should be perfect right now.........

Billybud007,
You can own a piece of the Polly L today! I have 15,000 shares of voting stock @ $5 per share for sale. That's $15,000 less than buying it from Amelia.

Hi Beauty Queen, (that's what I 've heard)
I have a problem. I want to MD in shallow (very) at the most about ten feet out (not deep) from the shoreline at low tide...along the treasure coast. I am an MDer. I don't scuba or snorkel. I never see anyone working the shorelines very edge. I guess one can't go into the water without a lease. How can I best address this dilemma? And btw, if I bought just one share can I frame it etc?

BB

I flew over again this past weekend and didn't see anyone working, the tide was coming out of Sebastian Inlet though so the vis might have been a problem at least up north.

BB,
You are allowed to MD from the mean low (lowest point) to the mean high (highest point) only if it is onshore from a leased site.

Well, just got the ax from FRRG, seems it was my fault that the mag monitor went out today even tho it has only been setting in the dampness for 3 years?? Wow, am I really surprised??

A lot of us here love you and your connection to the 1715 stories. Would mind elaborating a bit about the above post? FRRG? A lot of good people hear ould love to know how the insides of treasure hunting works. Thanks a mother lode of gold dubloons!

BB,
FRRG does not deserve reconition as a treasure hunter, just some good 'ole boys playing off shore. You other TN guys want to pipe in on FRRG? Probably not! Many have been done the same way I was or worse. Ask Mad4wrecks, Scubadude, Scubafinder they have all been there, done that.
'Nuf said about FRRG.
