CIVIL WAR FINDS + HUGE SURPRISE!!!----AND FINALLY TO COMPLETE THE STORY!

Hey guys,

hope you are having a great Thanksgiving holiday weekend.

Hunted all day yesterday except for dinner and hunted this morning.

Found the button without the back and the musket ball yesterday. My FIRST target dug today, I found the C.S.A. Plate! I ran about a tenth of a mile, up hill back inside to the house and woke everyone up. Man, I was out of breath but HAPPYYYYYYYY!!! Also found some more melted lead and an Eagle Button with a root grown inside the shank. very unique.



I told dad last night that when I find one of the buckles that I'd quit.

Did I quit? No way! I want moreeEEe!!!

Hey SCT, reading texans reply got me thinking and my apologies to you and anyone who may think my reply may have been geared towards stealing your moment in the spotlight.I was just trying to make the point about thinking twice about selling it from someone who knows first-hand how it feels to sell something like that and then want it back.Once again congrats!!

Here is one on Ebay that isn't in as good a shape as yours.

That is one great find, and I would never sell it!
