CIVIL WAR FINDS + HUGE SURPRISE!!!----AND FINALLY TO COMPLETE THE STORY!

Hey guys,

hope you are having a great Thanksgiving holiday weekend.

Hunted all day yesterday except for dinner and hunted this morning.

Found the button without the back and the musket ball yesterday. My FIRST target dug today, I found the C.S.A. Plate! I ran about a tenth of a mile, up hill back inside to the house and woke everyone up. Man, I was out of breath but HAPPYYYYYYYY!!! Also found some more melted lead and an Eagle Button with a root grown inside the shank. very unique.



I told dad last night that when I find one of the buckles that I'd quit.

Did I quit? No way! I want moreeEEe!!!

Fantastic find. Just imagine the history behind it. It's a piece of history I would love to own. My great grandfather served under the Stars and Bars for Florida.

Would look nice framed with some bullets.
