CTX 3030 - Does anyone have a solution to the headphone problem?

Question..Can I just cut off the minelab GG underwater connector and splice it to the GG Amphibians ?

RR, I ordered the amphenol connector OBN was helpful enough to supply us with. I'm going to get a pair of GGA's and setup with this connector. Standby.

I hate to order a pair for a at pro just to cut the end off. I wonder if you can purchase GGA's blunt cut end? Or a find a pair with damaged connector.

Rock, I'm not sure you know it but Joe Beechnut is OBN from above^^. He is sending me wiring diagram shortly.

I thought about this setup for Excal & CTX but the connector does not allow room for pinpoint modification in top endcap of Excal, so I opted for hardwired headphones with the pp mod already installed.

No I didn't know they were the same guy..I'm so confused at this point.

All I want to do is make the GGA work with the CTX and be waterproof. I'm willing to do it myself and just want to know what I need to buy and from who .

Fletch and R R....here is what you want, the GGA's wires are red and black you can connector in any order, b/r or r/b. The GGA's work the best on the Excalibur, Ok on the CTX, better then any UW head phones.

Something I have out for testing ..should know more come fall, with this you don't have to do any cutting of the GGA's for the Excalibur and the GGA's can be used on the Garrett UW machines, sea hunter, infinium, AT Pro gold

OBN, thanks for wiring info. I like the M-12 connector on Excal but wouldn't want to give up my PP mod. I guess there's only so much room in an end-cap and not enough for both.
