Got my first gold today! 
. Was a small gold heart pendant. Also found some clad part of what looks like a cleat (found near a ball diamond), and two front to combanation locks only had about and hour and a half to hunt. oldest coin was 1976. here is a scan. the pendant is pretty heavy was just under the sod tangled up in the roots. deepest coin was about 8". I have only had my compadre a month or so and already got my first silver and gold only a couple weeks apart. in the one penny old abe got hit with a lawn mower or sumptin he's looking kinda short
