Yup. I remember having some of those in the 1970s.

Any place that produces Wheaties, silver, and Minie bullets is a good one in my book! And if it produces giant, oversized Morgan dollars, you can bet that it's virgin territory where no other detectorists have been!

Thought i had a buckle once i cleaned the dirt i was like what in the world is this, i thought it may have been some kind of comerative coin due to the quality, i dont find alot of coins mostly civilwar relics ,so i wasnt sure what it was, i agree about the virgin spot i found like 50 modern pennies from the 60s on up

That is a cool find! Somewhere around here I have its cousin, a giant Indian Head Cent I got at the shore when I was a kid ;D
