Looks like it was connected to something else by pins

Yes that's what I'm thinking too. I have a mop where the sponge connects like that. Let me check to see if there is an indention in the back.

Jeff you need to post a terminology sticky with definitions cause I'm completely lost on this one "Thingamajigg, Hoochamajigger," and Coilygirl I thought noodling was catchin Catfish with your bare hands.....until now.... I'm not so sure anymore ???

a Watchamacallit is when I know what it is But my mind isn't able to remember the word for it 8-)

I learned absolutely nothing in this thread, lol. I lived in Oklahoma a few years. Noodling IS catching catfish with your hands, lol. Not sure how you might weed while noodling:laughing7:

When my minds a shortin out and registering "Whatchamacallits" I getter together wiff a Thingamabob fulla Granddads Mountain ale. Good far anything ale'n ya. OK gotta get back on track with this thread..... I have no clue what that thing is, but if ya find out Coilygirl do post it.

Ooo wee,hunter I believe I'll have that Grandads Mountain Ale now,just got through weedin, edgin, and noodlin with nary a guess!Speaking of noodles I might make some linguini with clam sauce for dinner tonight .

However she says size of five to six inches long ?
I Don't know any Vacuums that narrow

That is true Jeff now that you mention it.I do know that our house was built on a dairy farm.

It could also be the part inside one of those big mops with all the strings, like commercial grade janitorial equipment.
