I'm not a Lionel expert and I could be wrong, but perhaps it isn't the Lionel train manufacturer that made it. Maybe a different Lionel company? Or maybe they did. Shoot, what do I know? Why am I posting here? Is this my house? Who are all these people???

Maybe it was a dream or an internet whisper...word is that the Lionel train people ventured out into other toy markets, most not so successful. Just hoping for value here...but then again aren't we all?

The fact that you can't find any info on it could be a good thing. Maybe it is rare.

Is it used for slides or movie film? 8mm or Super 8? I may have some NOS (New Old Stock) projector bulbs to fit it.

this should help you.. it's called Lionel automatic Movie-Jector...

After a lot of searching I came across that very name too...thanks creeper.

It takes film/slides I believe specially made for this. After inserting 3 D batteries the lamp still works. Very cheaply made IMO, but
will still try to sell it.
