Well ive been keeping all the pre 82's also...Your not supposed to melt it, but I bet some people do...A box is 25 dollars....It would not be worth it to me tho, you would need alot of copper to make any money...I just figure someday the 60's, and 70's coins might go up in value....If I would have thought of this 30 years ago...Now days each year I put away one roll of every new coin I can...Just think if your father, or grandfather had done that...Uncirculated Steel pennys, or what have you.....Anyway guys thanks for the kind words...I was so excited to see that 1918 penny, the funny thing is I dug one up with my Ace 250 a while back, must be alot of 1918's out there..Oh yeah I got a 1953 also, and still have 4 rolls to go till im finished, I was too tired to do the whole box...

I can see CRH'ing could become a new habit.................

another thing besides the wheat cents that are worth keeping are the 1959 and 1960 cents becuase they were the first couple years they made the memorial reverse. all the cents with a "S" mintmark, 1961,1962,1963,1965,and 1969 cents due to their low mintage, and any AU or BU 1982 or older cents. have fun seaching throught he rest! 8)
