NC Question

8)I am a NC resident with property in the moutains, i don't know if you know but almost every creek and river in NC has gold. The first gold rush in the United States was in NC, The only reason the "rush" ended was the discovery of gold in Cal. where the gold was easier to get to . The NC gold rush was never continued becuase of several reasons like the development of the west, and a little thing called the Civil War. The gold in NC is still out there, you just need to do some research. I suggest checking the State's listings for mineral bearing areas and mineral rights to get an idea of which areas in which you are going would be the best to search. remember, NC was the richest gold bearing area before the gold fields in cal. opened up, then alaska. All that gold was just left in the ground all those years ago for us to find today.
